How To Tell If You're Over-Using a Word

Your three-year-old starts using it.

Tonight at dinner Cooper picked a piece of Romaine lettuce out of his taco salad and said, "See, it gets all funky and wet when you put it in this."

"This" was ranch dressing.

Perhaps I use the word funky a bit too much?
