Grit

I've been struggling to come up with a word for this year. You know, like a mantra or reminder for how I want to be this year. We're largely still in survival mode, especially now that Topher is so mobile. I was pondering my word for the year while I listened to the fascinating book Grit by Angela Duckworth. It suddenly came to me. Grit is my word for the year. Courage and resolve, strength of character. Yeah, that's definitely what I need this year.
