Space Cadet

I had a moment of thoughtfulness yesterday which resulted in me staring off into space. Phoebe pointed it out to me.

Phoebe: Mom. Mom! What are you looking at?

Me: Oh, I was just staring off into space.

Phoebe: Oh. (Pause, then in a conversational tone) What does space look like?
