Growing in Spirit

Yesterday was a big day for Cooper. After an interview with the Bishop, Cooper was ordained to be a Deacon in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bryan and a member of the Bishopric. In the blessing Cooper was counseled to study the scriptures.

He then walked into the Chapel and up to the stand so he could help pass the Sacrament for the first time. I asked how he felt about that when we were on our way home from church. He said he had butterflies in his stomach, but once he was up and doing it it wasn't so hard.
