I recently finished reading the Book of Mormon again. In contemplating what I should study next, I decided to read one chapter a day from it, them spend the rest of my scripture time on the Bible. It's been a few years since I read the Bible cover to cover.
It occurred to me as I've been making my way through Genesis that reading the Bible is kind of like visiting an elderly relative. They talk about a lot of people you don't know or can't remember. And they expect that you totally know who they're talking about.
My Grandma doesn't do this, in case you were wondering. But the book of Genesis does.
