Last semester my prize for attending a service auction was four weeks of free piano lessons. While I'm not a proficient pianist, I decided not to use the lessons for myself.
That's how this picture came to be taken. Peter had his first official (meaning not taught by me) piano lesson today.
I warned his teacher (a fellow MBASA-ite) that he might be a know-it-all and not very teachable, and he had moments of that, but for the most part it went well. He even seems excited to practice. Of course, that might change when the time to rehearse actually arrives.
I'm going to remain hopeful.
